Open/Int. |
|
| |
Open/Intermediate Level 2 and 3
Open/Int. classes are strong asana classes that consist of flowing vinyasa sequences
but that's not all........
Becoming more advanced in your yoga practice means holding poses longer while working with more subtle energies such as activating the bandhas and controlling the quality of your breath.
Becoming a more advanced yogi also means
practicing pranayama,meditation and mantra.
These classes help us cultivate awareness in our practice so that we can learn how to adjust ourselves and relax into each pose.

Kundalini |
|
| |
Utilizing asanas (body postures), mudras (hand positions), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation, the practice of Kundalini Yoga balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, and enables us to harness the energy of the mind and the emotions, so we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings.
This is yoga for everyday life, and every person. You are not required to be in perfect physical shape or believe anything in particular. Kundalini Yoga works for you if you can breathe and move your body. The gift of Kundalini Yoga is that you experience it. No words can replace that experience. Your experience goes right to your heart, your core. These ancient teachings are designed to give you “hands on” experience of your highest consciousness. By approaching Kundalini Yoga with openness and respect, you can change your life.

Hope For Vision
Hope For Vision is an organization dedicated to raising awareness of retinal degenerative and other blinding diseases, to providing information and community tools to help those coping with vision loss, and to developing the tools required to support a grassroots movement to raise urgently needed funding for scientific research.
Tens of millions of Americans lose vision every day, facing ultimate blindness. They are our friends, relatives, neighbors and colleagues.
Hope For Vision springs from the breathtaking scientific progress that has brought cures and treatments in sight.
In recent years, scientists have employed genetic treatments to restore full vision to blind dogs, have given vision to the blind using retinal microchip technologies, have begun clinical trials on pharmaceutical treatments to combat retinal degenerative diseases, and have reached dozens of other heretofore unimaginable milestones.
